UNLV Lady Rebels add BYU’s Haley Bodner Rydalch to 2018-2019 roster

UNLV Lady Rebels head coach Kathy Olivier announced that they will add BYU’s Haley Bodner Rydalch to the 2018-2019 roster.  Rydalch is a 6-3 center who started her career at Purdue.  She’s immediately eligible to play for UNLV next season and has the potential to play two years for UNLV pending a waiver from the NCAA.

Coach Oliviers says, “Haley is a big get for us and is going to take our post game even deepers.  We first recruited her in high school and are excited to have her come join us now.  Haley is an outstanding post player that can shoot and has a nose for the ball, while she’s a very talented rebounder as well.  We’re hopeful that we will get her for two years, and she will be a big boost to our team.”

Rydalch led her team to the 3A state title as a senior for Desert Hills High School averaging 14 points per game and was the 20-14 Utah Gatorade Player of the Year.  She’s ranked number 20 in the nation by Collegiate Girls Report.  Rydalch played her freshman year at Purdue before transfering to BYU.
