Our Metropolis (Feb. 7, 2016): 50 Years of the Marjorie Barrick Museum
This week host Gary Larson and regular panelists David Damore and Elizabeth Thompson discuss the start of Nevada’s 79th legislative session and all of its possibilities. With new rules in places for lobbyists, it is expected that things will be a little different. The panel then recaps the latest surrounding CCSD’s plan to reorganize the nation’s fifth-largest school district.
UNLV’s Marjorie Barrick Museum is entering its fiftieth year of service to the Las Vegas community. The museum has been used as an educational and exhibition space for artists in and around the Las Vegas valley. In this segment, host Gary Larson sits down with Alisha Kerlin, the museum’s Interim Director, to talk about the milestone.
