Governor Sandoval appoints MGM Executive to NSHE Board of Regents
Governor Brian Sandoval appointed Tuesday Anthony Williams to the Nevada System of Higher Education Board of Regents. Williams will fill the remainder of Cedric Crear’s term, who is now serving in the Las Vegas City Council.
“I am pleased to appoint Anthony Williams to the Board of Regents,” Governor Brian Sandoval said. “A U.S. Navy Veteran, Anthony and his wife are raising their four boys in North Las Vegas and I am confident Anthony’s perspective will be invaluable to the Board of Regents.”
Anthony Williams also currently serves as the Vice President of Engineering Operations for MGM Resorts International’s Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
“It is honor to be the voice of the students throughout this great state as well as my community.” said Williams. “I look forward to working with my fellow board members and the entire NSHE team to make our higher education system the best it can be.”
