CCSD Internal candidates added to list of finalists for superintendent position

Fourteen candidates have been added to the list of finalists in the search for the Clark County School District’s new superintendent. The fourteen, which include CCSD’s Chief Academic Officer Mike Barton, will join finalists St. Vrain Valley Schools in Colorado Superintendent Donald T. Haddad, the former Chief School Support Officer for the Houston Independent School District Shonda Huery Hardman, and the Deputy Superintendent of Orange County Public Schools in Florida.

Interviews are scheduled for April 27 and the school board is expected to make a decision by May 2.

The newly considered candidates all work have worked for CCSD.
